  • Yesterday, a construction site located in the southeast of Yangqidu Town, Zhenjiang Town, due to improper operation of the construction staff, caused a line pole on the south side of the double-loop 6 kV cable produced by the Jinxi Waterworks over the road (under construction) to break, and As a result of the line failure, Zhenjiang Jinxi Water Plant lost power and stopped production, which led to depressurized water supply in Zhenjiang urban area, and water was suspended in some areas.

At about 7.30 am yesterday, Ms. Li's family, who lived on the 6th floor of the first district of Huashan Bay in Zhenjiang, suddenly stopped water, so the family's breakfast was stopped. She began to think that someone had turned off the tap water inlet valve of her house, and after going downstairs and visiting a neighbor's house to analyze it, she thought that the tap water pipe might have been cut down and caused the water pressure to drop. At 8 o'clock, Mr. Teng went to the relative's house on the 7th floor of the First Floor Street Community to help. After the faucet was turned on, the water disappeared! At this moment, the family of Daxi Road also called and the water was stopped in the home ... Hundreds of unsuspecting citizens called the water company and the media to inquire about the situation, and the water company's public consultation call was almost exploded.

At about 7:35, the reporter learned from the relevant departments that the large-scale depressurized water supply in the city was caused by improper construction on a construction site on Runzhou Road. The reporter saw at the scene that this is a road under construction from Runzhou Road to the east to the riverside. Rainwater pipes are being laid here, and two long-arm excavators are working here. Over the road is the high-voltage line, but now it has all fallen to the ground, and the first pole on the south side has also been broken into three sections. The reporter saw that two wire ropes on the south side of the wire rod were used to pull the wire rod diagonally, and no natural break would occur, which was entirely caused by external forces.

Zhenjiang Municipal Water Supply and Drainage Management Office and water company rushed to the accident site to organize emergency repairs. The Zhenjiang Power Supply Company received the news, and also mobilized urgently, and launched the Zhenjiang Power Supply Company emergency repair plan. After on-site investigation, it was preliminarily determined that the 6 kV double-circuit power supply line was damaged by external forces. After rush repairs, Jinxi Water Plant resumed normal power supply. At 4.30 pm, normal water supply was restored in the urban area. At present, the specific cause of the accident is still under investigation.

Magpie "playful" touches the high-voltage line

    Danyang residents lose power

At around 11 noon yesterday, two magpies in Dongfangyuan Community of Danyang City received electric shocks due to chasing and playing with each other on the transformers in the community. The accident caused power outages to hundreds of residents nearby and the two magpies died and were injured.

Yesterday at noon, the city's power supply company received a call from residents of Dongfangyuan Community, saying that more than 100 households had lost power. The repairman rushed to the scene and found that there was a charred magpie on a high-voltage line of the transformer, and a magpie with burned wings under the transformer.

After inspection by the repair personnel, all the high-voltage fuses on the transformer were blown out, and the failure caused power outages for more than 100 households in the community. They analyzed that because of the large size of the magpie, it was possible that two magpies' extended wings caused high-voltage lines to discharge them.
