    ZA-6, 10Y indoor and outdoor plastic pillar insulator

    I. Overview of indoor pillar insulators

    Indoor pillar insulators are used in indoor power stations with a rated voltage of 6 ~ 35kV, substation power distribution devices and electrical equipment to insulate and fix conductive parts.
    Insulators are suitable for ambient temperatures ranging from -40 ° C to + 40 ° C. The altitude of the installation site does not exceed 1000m for ordinary types and the height of the prototype does not exceed 4000m.
    According to the structure of the insulator, the insulator is divided into three types of structure: the outer glue, the inner glue and the joint glue. The insulators are classified according to the rated voltage and bending strength grade as follows:

    Brief introduction of insulator structure

    The insulator is made of porcelain and the upper and lower metal accessories are glued together with an adhesive. The end parts of the porcelain parts and the metal parts of the plastic parts are fitted with elastic pads. The plastic parts of the porcelain parts are sanded, knurled, and grooved to ensure mechanical strength and prevent loosening and twisting. The surface of the porcelain pieces is evenly white-glazed, and the surface of the metal accessories is painted with gray magnetic paint.
    The main structure of insulator porcelain has two types of cavity partition (breakable) structure and solid (non-breakable) structure. Joint glued post insulators are generally solid, non-breakable structures. The latter structure improves the safety and reliability and reduces the maintenance and testing workload compared with the former structure.
    There are two types of insulator ceramics: polygonal or less prismatic. Polygonal shape increases the creepage distance and its electrical performance is better than less prismatic. Except for the outer plastic pillar insulators that will be phased out, the other products are polygonal.
    The inner glued structure, because the metal attachment is glued into the hole of the porcelain, correspondingly increases the insulation distance, improves the electrical performance, and also reduces the space occupied by the installation. However, because the inner glue is not good for improving the mechanical strength, Insulators that require high mechanical strength should be combined with rubber (that is, the upper attachment is inner rubber, and the lower attachment is outer rubber).

    Third, technical standards

    Indoor pillar insulators are manufactured according to the national standard GB8287.1 ~ 8287.2 "High-voltage pillar porcelain insulators".

    For outer rubber pillar insulators, the letter L in front of the dash indicates a polygonal shape, and the letters A, B, and D indicate mechanical damage loads of 3.75, 7. 5, 20kN, respectively. The fraction after the letter, the numerator represents the kilovolt of rated voltage, and the denominator is the number of mechanical damage load kN.
